This was an interesting project we completed recently. The client had this glass panel with an unsightly beam running through. They wanted to hide the beam but to do so in a way that had some design. After consultation, we decided to implement a custom decorative window film to provide a solution. We utilized a combination of 3M Fasara San Marino frosted film and a grey vinyl. As you can see from this before and after picture, we were able to provide the coverage of the beam and create a unique, backlit set of panels that elevate the design in the space.
Decorative window films and finishes are geared towards the goal of innovating and implementing beautiful yet practical products that meet the diverse needs of designers, architects, building owners and operators, contractors and other professionals. These films can provide the look, privacy and translucency of etched, sandblasted or otherwise textured glass. Apply these films to glass to create realize gorgeous results at a fraction of the cost of etched glass, with fade reduction as an added bonus. We would love to discuss all the options with you.
